This position reports to the Project Manager — Environment and is responsible for research and developing in-depth knowledge of assigned program areas including current issues with a clear understanding of how they fit into the organizations interests.
In addition update and maintain resource files for assigned program areas, development of project proposals, as well as implementation of program activities.
Minimum Qualifications
* Degree in Environmental Studies or related field;
* Higher Diploma with 2 years experience or; Diploma with 3 years experience
* Comprehensive knowledge of project cycles gained at a practical level.
Key Skills:
The Applicant should have proven ability to organize and conduct multi-stakeholder meetings, conduct needs analysis, experience in training; excellent presentation skills and report compilation skills; computer literacy in Microsoft Office; be a team player; have personal initiative and be a quick learner.
